The Nasu Trappists began the craft of making Galette cookies over fifty-five years ago. Galettes have become a popular sweet, loved by many. In the joyful sharing of the fruit of our prayer and work, we put all our heart into the labor of our hands. Because Galettes were originally made in family homes, we too value the importance of our handiwork: there are no additives, and the care given to the use of each ingredient serves to maintain a traditional flavor. Galettes look like waffle. Galettes are crisp, and they taste like cookies.
